On May 14, 2026, a validation activity for the proposed Farm-to-Market Road (FMR) Projects under the government convergence program was conducted at the Office of the Mayor.

The activity was carried out by Engr. Marcial Bonito Jr., DPWH Engineer II, and Krisna Osorio, DPWH PDO I, in coordination with the Department of Agriculture (DA) and the concerned Local Government Units (LGUs). The validation aimed to ensure that the proposed FMR projects comply with the required technical standards and specifications prior to implementation and construction.

Through coordination meetings, technical assessments, and review of project proposals and site details, the participating agencies worked together to evaluate the proposed road projects. The initiative supports agricultural development by improving rural connectivity and providing farmers with better access from production areas to markets, contributing to increased productivity and economic opportunities in rural communities.
