On July 8, 2026, Municipal Mayor Honesto C. Tabligan II, together with MDRRMO Head Noel Garcera Jr., department heads, municipal offices, and representatives from partner government agencies, convened an Emergency Preparedness Meeting at the Municipal Government of Pandan in anticipation of the possible effects of Typhoon INDAY.

The meeting aimed to strengthen the municipality’s disaster preparedness by reviewing contingency plans, enhancing inter-agency coordination, and ensuring the timely mobilization of resources to protect the lives and welfare of residents. Participating offices and agencies provided situational updates, assessed preparedness measures, identified priority actions, and coordinated response strategies to ensure a prompt, organized, and effective emergency response should the typhoon affect the municipality.
